February 15, 2021: Revised Pickup Time and Location

Good news! We made it through the night with no inclement weather and so our donut volunteers are here busy working on the orders. It smells yummy here today 🙂

Come as early as 4:00 PM

Order Pick Up will start at 4 pm. Come as soon as you are able. You do not have to stick to the time you originally signed up for. We hope to have all orders claimed by 7 pm so we can get everyone home.

More Good News! We are now able to go back to our normal drive-thru lane around the building. So disregard last night’s new location instructions. We’re back to Plan “A”!!

  1. Enter from Route 113
  2. Turn RIGHT at the stop sign.
  3. Turn RIGHT on the gravel drive and the LEFT to follow the back drive away (like previous drive-thru donut days this summer)
  4. Go around the back of the building
  5. Pay at one of the 2 order pick up doors

Revised traffic flow route at Fire House.

Kimberton Fair Canceled

Vintage photo of waffle stand at the Kimberton Fair.

For only the second time in the Kimberton Fair’s 90+ years (WWII) we are sad to announce this year’s fair has been canceled.

Official statement from the Fair Board below:

It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Kimberton Community Fair. This was an extremely difficult decision based on many factors, but first and foremost on community safety and fiscal responsibility. Without clear guidance from governing authorities, we simply do not have the resources to continue to prepare for an event that may not be safely or legally permitted. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our patrons, volunteers, exhibitors, and concessionaires, and we look forward to seeing our community next year from July 26-31, 2021.

May 2020 Donut Sale Canceled

Due to the continued threat of the COVID-19 virus in our region, the May 18 & 19 donut sale is canceled. We will continue to post here as updates about future sales become available.

We urge everyone to follow government guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

April Donut Day Canceled

The April 27-28 “Donut Day Sale” is canceled.

The sale dates fall within the Governor’s “Stay At Home” order which runs through April 30. Neither our volunteers nor our customers would be able to come out. Plus the Fire Company buildings are still closed to the public.

While our daily routines have drastically changed, and there is so much disappointment with all the cancellations and closures, the one thing that is not canceled this month is EASTER! While it may look different than other years, it is still a time for rejoicing! So take the time to celebrate however you can.

Our volunteers are working hard to keep themselves and their families safe so that we can get back to the business of making donuts.

Our donuts miss you!

March Donut Day Sale Canceled

Our top priority is you…our volunteers and our customers. Therefore, after careful consideration, the decision has been made to cancel the March Donut Day sale in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

We are continuing to monitor the situation through the Chester County Health Department and will keep you notified of the status the April donut sale as things progress.

We care about each and every one of you, so please be sure you are following the recommended health protocols to keep you and your family safe.
